Ross, Margaret (Marriage - 19 OCT 1892)

Married, on Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 19, 1892, at 3:30, Elsworth J. Scott, of Hayward, to Miss Margaret Ross, of Neillsville, Clark County, at the residence of her parents, in the first ward, by Rev. J. G. Russell.

For some time back we have noticed the frequent visits of Mr. Scott, editor of the Hayward Journal - News, to this city, and at one time twitted him of looking after personal property here, which he did not deny.

Mr. Scott is a young man, of marked ability for a newspaper editor, as his ably edited sheet shows, and it shows his good taste and ability by selecting Miss Ross, who for some time has been teaching school in Hayward, as his bride and helpmate. What is our loss is Hayward's gain, as Miss Ross is very highly esteemed by everyone in this city, all of whom regret to see her depart, and who, together with the Republican and Press, wish them both much happiness and a bright future.
