Johannes Conrad Schwarze was born in Brosen, Lippe-Detmold, Germany June 24, 1850 to Hans Herman & Sophia (Hover) Schwarze. He was a twin to Herman Heinrich Schwarze. He immigrated to Sheboygan, WI in 1867 along with his older brother, Henry, and his family after his parents died when he was just nine years old. He married Catharina Ziesel, the daughter of August and Hagate (Steimle) Schwarze. She was born September 9, 1853 in Sheboygan, WI. In 1870, John and Kathrine moved to Warner along with their extended family and both are buried there.
