Eulogy To Beverly Penk
It is difficult to comprehend why things sometimes happen as they do. Obviously, our Master has a plan for each of us. When His call comes we respond without hesitation.
Bev was a wonderful person-overflowing with goodness, kindness and love! Together with her husband she raised a fine family with tenderness and loving care for every member.
She continued this same family tradition of love and concern for both young and old in the community which to her was part of a big family.
Bev was a devout follower of her faith. In her many years as Secretary at Thorp Catholic School she did a remarkable job! She knew all the pupils by name and how to help comfort and please them by her friendly, contagious smile and words of encouragement. She went out of her way to please older people also. She gained respect and admiration beyond measure from everyone and left an indelible mark on her family, friends, community and whoever she came in contact with.
Perhaps her mission here was completed! Could it be that she was needed There to inspire souls who barely passed the Pearly Gates - to uplift them to the highest levels by her pleasant personality, mild manner and fine example?
Is it possible that some day when we get our beckoning call that we will be able to resolve some of these mysteries?
God Bless and Keep You, Bev! You are sadly missed by all!
