Lt. Leander La Flex who was WI born and had died in a plane crash. Since
LaFlex is not a common name and it also appears in my genealogy I decided to see
if I could connect the ties to my family. I talked with a cousin, George LaFex
(a N.Y. spelling variation of the same family line) and he suggested I contact
Roger LaFlex who is currently in his 80's for additional information. Roger now
lives in Menasha, WI, but lived in Clark Co. all his life the greater share of
his life. Well, Leander was his brother!
Roger writes, " This picture was taken between Sept 24, 1952 and 1961.
Mother was born Feb 3, 1896. She died Sept 24, 1952, age 57 years.
Delbert died 1961." It was taken in Clark Co., but he isn't sure where.
