Josef Kraut Family

Three groups of four generations in the Kraut Family, Curtiss are shown here. (left to right, front row) Mrs. Josef Kraut, 75, Betty Kraut, 2, Mrs. Franlin Kraut, 21, all of Curtiss; Mrs. Louise Horn, 84, Greenwood, WI; and Gottlieb Kind, 86, Curtiss. (top row) Frank Kraut, 50, Franklin Kraut, 21, Mrs. Christ Karsten, 54, and Mrs. Frank Kraut, 44. Divided by groups of four generations in each, naming the oldest first, they are: Group 1 - Mrs. Josef Kraut, Frank Kraut, Franklin Kraut, and Betty. Group 2 - Gottlieb Kind, Mrs. Frank Kraut, Franklin Kraut, and Betty. Group 3--Mrs. Louise Horn, Mrs. Christ Karsten, Mrs. Franklin Kraut, and Betty. The Kraut family came from Koenigswald, near Karlsbad, in Bohemia, direct to Curtiss in 1892.
