Contact us if you can help. David Mason was born January 19, 1845 in
Maine. He fought as a private with the Union Army in
Co. G. Coast Guard, in the Maine Infantry.
He married Lydia, daughter of Guss and Mitilda Visnow/Visnau of Canada on the 4th of July 1873 in Neillsville.
The young couple made their home in the village of Neillsville, Wisconsin where
they resided near the families of Robert & Amelia Weeks and Charley & Louisa
Gates. He died September 14, 1882 and was buried in the Neillsville City
