information. Contact us if you can help. William Nourse was the son of Archie and
Ethel Nourse of Atwood, Clark Co., Wisconsin. He was born May 25, 1926 and died June 16, 1986. His
remains were interred in the Riverside Cemetery, Hixon Township, Clark County,
Wisconsin.
This is a
picture of Bill Nourse, a few years back, when he started working for
Mike Szerlong at the barber shop. Nourse eventually bought out Szerlong
in 1956 and has worked there since 1948, after he attended barber school
in Minneapolis. He presently operates Nourse's Barber Shop by himself.--from
the Courier darkroom.
And here is Bill Nourse in 1975. Having worked at this very barber
shop since 1948, and being the owner for 27 years at that time, he
had seen many heads. The person in the chair here is Ed Liszewski of
