the Civil War. He married on 5
April 1865 in Brothertown, Calumet
County, WI to Permelia Jane Fowler. When they came to
Clark Co, WI is not known for sure
but their second youngest child was
born in Brothertown, Calumet County
in 1876 so it was some time after
that date. Loren M Johnson was
the son of Rowland Johnson and
Almira Fowler and comes from a long
family line of Johnson, Fowler,
Dick, Skeesuck, Potter, Garrett, and
Kindness which are all Brothertown
Indian family names. His wife Permelia
Jane Fowler also comes from some of
the above names and also the names Seketer and Pharoah
which are also Brothertown family

Johnson died 9 Oct 1909 Colby, Clark
County, WI I have no burial
information for her. Loren Murray
Johnson died 19 Mar. 1886 at Colby,
Clark County, WI and he is buried
at Unity Township Cemetery, Unity,
Clark Co, WI. His cemetery
inscription reads as follows JOHNSON L. M. NO
DATES CO A 2ND WI CAV. Loren and Permelia
had the following children Arthur,
Eddie, Emile, Millie, Dollie,
Clayton Seymour, George Melvin,
Mary, James Preston, Harriet Marion,
and Albert Lucien Johnson No information is

Millie, or Dollie. Clayton Seymour

Calista Graham, on 5 Oct 1894 in
Colby, Clark County, WI. Isabel was born on
11 Aug 1878 in Colby, Clark County,
WI and was the daughter of James
Graham and Mary Dolph. Clayton died in 1942
in Colby, Clark County, WI. Isabel
died on 26 Oct 1913 Colby, Clark
County, WI Clayton and Isabel

Elwin, and Celia Jane Oscar Elwin was born
6 April 1896 at Colby, Clark County,
WI and married on 15 Sept 1917 in
Kenosha, Kenosha County,WI to Illma
