David N. & Ida Mae Butler
Ida Butler was born November 9, 1863 in Augusta, Wisconsin, the daughter of Elisha and Louisa Howe. She married David Butler 7 Sept. 1892 in Eau Claire Co., WI (Vol. 2 page 0139). She died January 21, 1953 and is buried in the township of Butler Cemetery. David was born in Dec. 12, 1863 and died, three years earlier, January 20, 1950. He is also buried in the Butler Cemetery.
Their daughter, Alma, married John W. Kile, 14 Mar. 1918. They had at least 6 children. Alma and John are also buried in the Butler Cemetery. Alma had a sister, but we have been unable to find any information concerning her.
According to the 1910 Census, Ida had a forty year old brother, Elson, who was a neighbor in Mead Township. That same census recorded Ida and David as having had four children, but only two were then living.
