The Laniewski Family

John Laniewski was married to Sofie.
He was born in 1871 and when he died in 1939, he was laid to rest in the
Old St. Hedwig's Cemetery just outside of Thorp, WI. Their son, Leon,
was a veteran who resided for some time in the Veterans' Home in King, WI,
but eventually left and ultimately died
Stanley and Bennie Laniewski were
pallbearers for
Barney Harycki who drowned in the Jump River about two miles west of
Sheldon, WI in May of 1935.
