Elmer Magnus Johnson in 1937 |
Elmer Johnson was born July 18, 1895, the son of Ole J. and Carrie (Peterson) Johnson. He belonged to the prestigious Greenwood Commercial Club and was present for the Banquet held in honor of the unveiling of the Peace Monument given to the city by Ernest Durig in 1937.
Mabel Peterson was born May 22, 1897, at Longwood, and was married July 18, 1917, in Greenwood to Margaret was a member of the auxiliary of the Clark County Letter Carriers and of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and its American Lutheran Church Women's group. Mrs. Johnson taught Sunday School here for many years.
Elmer died Jan. 23, 1960.
