John Annen, the son of William and Florence (Pink) of Dodgeville, Wisconsin. He was born 5 Apr 1935 and died 29 Aug 2006. He attended Loyal elementary schools and graduated from Loyal High School and served in the United States Air Force. While driving a semi-truck for the Murphy Motor Freight Company, he lived in St. Paul, Minnesota and then later worked for the DNR in their security department. At varying times, he lived in Bakersville, Lindsey and McMillan which are all in Wood Co., Wisconsin. Following retirement in 1995, he moved to Marshfield, Wisconsin where he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He spent many volunteer hours at the Sportsman's Club and enjoyed the shooting range there as well. He died unexpectedly 29 Aug. 2006 in the Saint Joseph Hospital in Marshfield.

William A. Annen was born 20 Aug 1900 and married Florence J. Pink, the daughter of Frank A. and Christina K. (Boening) Pink. He resided in Loyal and Spokeville which are both in Clark County, Wisconsin. He died during January in 1972 and is buried in the St. Anthony, Loyal, Wisconsin. Florence (Pink) Annen was born 10 Oct 1903 in Grant Co., WI. She lived in both Rib Mountain and Wausau, Wisconsin. When she died, 25 May 1999, she was put to rest at her husband's side in the St. Anthony Cemetery. Her father was born 21 Mar 1874 in Lancaster, Grant Co., WI. Her mother was born 30 Jul 1877.

1920 Census-Florence Pink was 16 yrs. old and living in Loyal, WI with her parents.
1930 Census--William Annen resided in West Bay Township, Benson Co., ND, was 29 yrs old and also married at the age of 29. He was born in WI, as was his father. His mother was born in Germany. At that time he was a farm laborer and had served in WWI. Florence (Pink) Annen was 26 yrs. old and married. Both of her parents were born in Wisconsin.
