1, 1848 in New York State. He married Ida A., the daughter of Mathew and
Mariah (Walters) Marvin. She was born October 5, 1854 and was also a native
of the Empire State. When the 1880 Federal Census was taken, they were
living in Albion, Jackson County, Wisconsin and had three children. Both
