Bryan, George & Hepsa
George Bryan Sr., wife Hepsa Black Bryan and eight children, namely: Elizabeth, George Jr., Walter, Agnes, John, Jessie, Nellie, and Edith moved to the township of Levis (Clark Co., Wis.) Nov. 1, 1918 and settled on the farm now owned by George Jr. and wife Seona. Mrs. Brayn was a poet and musician. She planed her violin "fiddle" at dances and Levis parties. The picture of the piano shows the worth of such an almost priceless piece of furniture. It was the old Riverside Dance Hall that saw the use of this piano. It was brought into Clark County in the wintertime, having hauled it down the river with a team of oxen. Hepsa bough the piano from George Beeckler. It was made in 1898.
