Wisconsin William Stillman was born in 1841 in
New York. At the time of the 1880 Federal Census, he was married to
Mary, the daughter of Watson and Alvina (aka: Polly) Fairfield.
William was a dentist and Mary took care of their home. Mary and her mother were both natives
of New York, but Watson (aka: Walter) was born in Woodstock, Windham County,
Connecticut. Mary was born August 18, 1838 and her siblings were Ira,
Abigal, Isabel, Reuben, William, Sally, Joseph and Hannah. March 11th, 1910, Mary died of
Tuberculosis while residing in Clark Co., Wisconsin and her body was
