Kingsbury retires from U.S. Air Force
CM Sgt Bruce J. Kingsbury
Chief Master Sergeant Bruce J. Kingsbury, of the United States Air Force, recently retired after thirty years of service.
Kingsbury was the Air Force Special Operations MC130P Standardization and Evaluation Flight Engineer and Flight Engineer Functional Manager assigned to Hurlburt Field, Florida. In this capacity he provided direct feedback to the director of operations on aircrew standardizations, training, tactics, and oversaw the career development and professional growth for over 283 Flight Engineers.
Kingsbury is the son of Kenneth and Theresa Kingsbury and is a native of Neillsville. He graduated from Neillsville High School and entered the Air Force in July 1977. He started his career as an aircraft mechanic, graduating from technical training in December 1977. Kingsbury was a qualified crew chief on the T-38 and F-4E aircraft. After his first enlistment he retrained as a C-130 Flight Engineer and he is a qualified instructor and evaluator on the C-130E, HC-130P/N and MC-130P aircraft. He has been married for 25 years to the former Marisol Moles Garces, of Granada, Spain, and has two children, Kevin 21 and Mitchell 19.
