OUT FOR SEASON Harland Carl, speedy University of Wisconsin halfback from Greenwood, will not play for the Badgers this year, Coach Ivy Williamson announced today. Carl broke a bone in his wrist before the season started and has not seen action in the team's three victories. By withdrawing from the team Carl still retains three years of eligibility. He had been rated the best running back to enroll at Wisconsin since Elroy Hirsch.
