I, Otto Steinberg, make the following statement; I have purchased Liberty Bonds every time they were allotted to us. That I have bought War Stamps and that I am treasurer of the War Stamp Committee of my School Dist., now, I have donated to the American Red Cross and I am a member of them in good standing. I have done all I could to help our Government in our World War by word, act and deed.
I would have went and fought for this country had I been called to do so.
The reason I did not take out my Citizens papers years ago, is that I supposed my father had his Second papers and did not know any different until just shortly before I made application for my first paper, dated April 20, 1918
