IDINA L. KIPPENHAN/LOUIS DECKER MARRIAGE

At two o'clock Saturday afternoon, in the presence of all the relatives and friends who could gain admission to Emmanuel Church, on the West Side, occurred the marriage of Louis Decker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Decker, to Idina L. Kippenhan, second eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ch. Kippenhan, Rev. J. Schmalz officiating. The bride, who was dressed in pretty light blue silk, wearing a white bridal veil, was attended by Clara Decker and Clara Kippenhan, sister of the groom and bride respectively. The groom was attended by his brother Gustave Decker and Theodore Humke, cousin of the bride.

After the ceremony at the church, the bridal party and friends repaired to the home of the bride's parents in town (Greenwood, Clark County), where a reception was held during the afternoon and evening, dancing, games and refreshments beguiling the hours till they began to grow long in the morning. A bounteous wedding supper was served by the bride's mother and sisters at 5:30 o'clock in the evening.

The bride and groom were lavishly remembered with presents of furniture, household goods and jewelry. Each of the parties has grown to maturity in this place and are blessed with a host of friends.

For the winter Mr. and Mrs. Decker will make their home with the bride's parents and in the spring they will likely go to housekeeping in the house Mr. Decker purchased a year or so ago, known as the Sullivan house, now occupied by L. J. Van Voorhis and family.

The occasion has an added significance, as Saturday was the silver wedding anniversary of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ch. Kippenhan, the occasion serving as double celebration. These were likewise generously and appropriately remembered by their numerous relatives and friends.

The near relatives and fiends present from out of the immediate vicinity were: Mrs. Elizabeth Klumb, West Bend Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Martin and daughter, Kewaukum August Werner, West Bend Chas. Winkleman, Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Faber and family, Lynn Mr. and Mrs. I. N. Welsch and family, Loyal Wm. and Tena Thormalen, Thorp Maggie Warnicke, Kohlsville and Frank Reigel, Marshfield.
