Hall is the daughter of James and Sandra Nemitz of Bloomer and granddaughter of Ed and Judy Christensen of Neillsville.  Hall is a 1996 Bloomer High School graduate. She began working at Kennedy Space Center for the United Space Alliance in 2003.

While at Kennedy Space Center, Hall received her Associate Degree of Arts from Brevard Community University in May 2007 and is currently working on a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Central Florida.
