The A. M. Penny Company of Waupaca, Wisconsin, contemplate building a potato
warehouse here providing they can get the farmers to contract for at least 350
acres of potatoes.
The company is now building a warehouse in Owen, Wisconsin, where the farmers
have 600 acres contracted for, and there is no reason why Greenwood cannot have
a warehouse here.
You do not bind yourself to sell to them, as you are at liberty to sell to
anyone that will pay more than they do. If the farmers are interested in a
proposition of this kind, call at the Greenwood State Bank, The Big Store, or
Rossman Steiger Company, and get further information.
