Stiefvater, Adeline (APR 1911)
Arthur Hatfield of Pipestone, Minnesota and Miss Adeline Stiefvater of Greenwood
were united in marriage Tuesday. The ceremony took place Tuesday morning at ten
o’clock in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Rev. Father Boeckmann officiating. The
groom was attended by Joe Hecker, The bride was attended by her sister, Miss
Clara Stiefvater.
After the ceremony the wedding party returned to the Stiefvater home, where the
wedding festivities were enjoyed that afternoon and evening.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. Stiefvater, who live five and a
half miles northeast of town. She is quite well known here and in the country.
She has worked at dressmaking for the past few years here and at Pipestone,
Minnesota.
The groom is a resident of Pipestone, Minnesota, where he is employed at the
carpenter trade.
The young couple will leave soon for Pipestone, where they will make their new
home.
The Gleaner joins their friend in wishing them happiness and prosperity.
