Reetz, Jacquelyn Marie (18 March 1993 – 16 November 2020)
Jacquelyn M. Reetz, 27, of Fairchild, passed away Monday, November 16, 2020, in
Mentor Township, Clark County.
Jacquelyn Marie Reetz, daughter of Ewald “Butch” Reetz and Kris (Riphenburg)
Bertrand was born March 18, 1993, in Eau Claire. Jacqie was raised in Fairchild,
where she attended Fairchild Elementary School and middle and high school in the
Osseo-Fairchild and Augusta school districts. She had enjoyed working with the
public during her employment with Younkers Department Store in Eau Claire. After
Younkers closed she worked in quality assurance with the Jenny O Turkey Plant in
Barron. While in Barron she made friendships with many of the other employees.
Jacqie had always enjoyed spending time outdoors with family when fishing,
hunting, camping or just going for a drive.
Jacqie will be dearly missed by Mikka, her son that was born in July of 2010;
mother Kris Bertrand of Fairchild; father Butch Reetz of Augusta; ½ brother
Dustin and Savannah Bertrand of Eau Claire and their children, Max and Emilia
Bertrand; grandmother Karen Riphenburg of Fairchild; aunts and uncles, Karrie
and Fred Bowman of Viroqua, Lisa and Andy Wasylko of Lublin, Lee Riphenburg of
Fairchild, Sonja and Jim Schick of Fairchild, Barbara and Damon LaRose of
Augusta; several cousins and other relatives and friends.
Jacqie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ronald Riphenburg, Dorothy and
Ewald Reetz; and her aunt Kathleen Suckow.
A memorial service is being planned for a later date.
