CHARLOTTE EMMA ASPLIN/CLAUDE LEE MILLS MARRIAGE
Claude Lee Mills of the Town of Weston and Charlotte Emma Asplin
were married at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Asplin near Tioga,
Clark County Tuesday, Aug. 22, 1905. Rev. C. O. Presnall performed
the marriage ceremony.
Mr. Mills was born, raised and educated at Christie. He is one of
the oldest teachers in the county and is prominent as a worker in
the Republican Party.
Miss Asplin, whose home was formerly in Augusta, came to the Town
of Eaton with her parents a few years ago. She is a young woman of
beautiful temperament and disposition and highly esteemed by all
who know her.
The wedding was quiet on account of death of Mr. Mills father last
winter. They begin housekeeping near Christie at once.
