IVY PUTNAM/FRED CHURCH MARRIAGE
At the M. E. Church last evening, May 16, 1906, a very pretty
wedding was solemnized in which the contracting parties were Mr.
Fred Church and Miss Ivy Putnam, both of this village (Loyal, Clark
County).
At 8 o'clock p.m. the young couple about to be joined together in
holy wedlock, marched to the bridal altar, accompanied by Floy
Putnam, a sister of the bride, and Marion Dunn, who acted as
bridesmaids, and Guy Putnam, brother of the bride, and Len Church,
brother of the groom, as best men, where they listened to the words
that made them man and wife. Only relatives and intimate friends
being present, Rev. T. J. Bryan officiating.
The groom is the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. C. K. Church, and has
grown to manhood in our midst. Fred is mail carrier on route two,
which position he has held since the route was established.
The bride is the eldest daughter of Mrs. Wm. Meeks and has resided
here for a number of years, where she has made a host of
friends.
The Tribune joins with their many friends in wishing them joy and
happiness through years of married life. (Loyal Tribune)
