Lulloff, James B. (2 JAN 1937 – 25 NOV 2020)
James B. Lulloff, age 83, of Owen, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2020, at
Clark County Rehabilitation and Living Center in Owen under the tender care of
Aspirus Comfort Care Hospice.
A public visitation will be held on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2020, from 10 a.m. until
10:45 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Town of Colby (Green Grove). A private
service will be held at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at the church cemetery with
military honors provided by the Colby VFW Post #2227. We encourage those in
attendance to abide by the COVID-19 guidelines by sanitizing, wearing a mask (if
able) and social distancing. The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford is
entrusted with the arrangements.
Jim was born on Jan. 2, 1937, the son of Bernard and Martha (Buss) Lulloff on
the family farm in the town of Hoard. He attended Midway School and graduated
from Owen High School in 1954. Jim entered the U.S. Army in 1960 and was
stationed at Fort Campbell, Ken. He was a member of the 101st Airborne and was
honorably discharged in 1962. Jim was united in marriage in 1962 to Audrey
Klocke and they later divorced. Jim worked at Packaging Corporation of America
for 38 years. He also was a dairy farmer. Jim was an avid fisherman and hunter,
enjoyed polka dancing, antiques and going to auctions. He also enjoyed watching
high school sports. Jim is survived by three sons: James (Nancy) Jr. of Owen,
Michael (Joette) of Owen and Matthew (fiance’ Kristin Evans) of Deary, Idaho;
two grandchildren: Jameson and Jessica; one great-grandson, Michael. He is
further survived by his best friend, Donna Nicks of Medford; three
sisters-in-law, Bobbie Ann Lulloff of Lakeland, Tenn., Arlene Lulloff of
Germantown and Pearl Lulloff of Owen; nieces, nephews, other relatives and
friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers and two sisters: Robert,
Vernard, Carmen, Arlyn, Helen (Fred) Walz and Darlene (Clarence) Richards.
