FLORENCE G. SNYDER/ROY F. COTA MARRIAGE
Roy F. Cota and Florence G. Snyder were married Thursday, Nov.
29th, 1906 at Marshfield, Rev. A. B. Soule of the M.E. Church
officiating. The ceremony was witnessed by John Arends and Gladice
Cummings of this city, who accompanied the pair as chaperones and
incidentally to learn how it was don. The groom is assistant
superintendent of the Greenwood, Clark County Municipal Lighting
Plant, and son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Cota, who live near Loyal. The
bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Snyder of this city. For
several years she has been teaching in this and Grant County, her
old home. For the past ten months she has been the angel in the
Gleaner office. Both are popular young people. Mr. and Mrs. Cota
have gone to housekeeping in the rooms over H. W. Hunt's store
building.
