M. F. Bishop, a farmer residing six miles south of the village (Thorp), was
caught by Game Warden, H. C. Tiedeman, with a deer he had killed, on Wednesday
of last week, and on Thursday paid a fine of $25.00 and $4.49 costs I Justice
George Burke’s Court. The carcass of the deer was shipped to the State Game
Warden at Madison (Thorp Courier)
