Harold worked in Thorp, where he managed a grocery store. He was united in
marriage to Marion H. Faucher on November 11, 1961 at Christ the King Catholic
Church in Spencer. They resided in Spencer and Harold worked at Pathfinder Homes
until its closing. They moved to Loyal and he worked at Greenwood Homes and
Stratford Homes, both in Greenwood, until their closing. Harold then worked at
the Loyal Cannery as a foreman, and then spent his last 20 working years as the
custodian for St. Anthony Catholic Church. After retiring in 2001, he continued
working part-time at his son, Pat's, business in Spencer (Bear Creek Canvas).
Harold had many interests, but especially loved spending time with his family
and friends, hunting, and fishing. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic
Church and the Chequamegon Wildlife and Rec Club.
