FLORENCE RAYMOND/SAMUEL D. ST. JOHN MARRIAGE
A quiet but happy event occurred at 2:30 o'clock in the afternoon
of Dec. 19th, 1906, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Raymond in
this city (Greenwood, Clark County), when their daughter, Florence,
was united in marriage to Samuel D. St. John of Owen, this county,
by Rev. W. T. Hendren. The bride was attended by Miss Maud Randall
of Withee, while Clinton Raymond, brother of the bride acted as
best man. The couple left on Friday for Owen, where Mr. St. John is
engaged in business, and where they will be at home to their
friends. Greenwood thus loses one in population, but the Gleaner
unites with the many friends of the couple in wishing them a long
and happy union.
