Vrana, Wynola “Nola” R. (8 February 1935 – 9 December 2020)
Wynola “Nola” R. Vrana, age 85, of Marshfield, formerly of Colby, passed away
December 9, 2020 at the House of the Dove in Marshfield with her family by her
side.
Nola was born February 8, 1935 to Otto and Frieda (Werner) Koeppen in Colby.
Nola was a graduate of Colby High School. She was united in marriage to Jerry
Vrana on April 14, 1962 at Christ Lutheran Church Parsonage in Dorchester, and
they were married 51 years. He preceded her in death on August 18, 2013.
Nola was a bank teller at Colby State Bank for 10 years, and then worked side by
side with Jerry, at their business, Jerry’s TV, for 30 years. She loved to
garden, read and her cocker spaniels.
Nola is survived by her children: Kim (Susan) Vrana of Marshfield, and Julie
(Chuck Padrnos) Vrana of Rochester, MN; five grandchildren: Kelsey, Cameron, and
McKinsey; Jasper and Samantha; and other nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Jerry; and five siblings: Leona
Zassenhaus, Violet Frome, LaVern “Sonny” Koeppen, June Neuhaus and Kenneth
Koeppen.
A celebration of life will be held next spring.
Family would like to thank the House of the Dove for their excellent care and
compassion and Dr. Mohamed Hashem at the Marshfield Medical Center.
