Neillsville senior student Jonah Zoschke, son of Amy and Matt Zoschke has been
honored as a Junior Kiwanian for November.
The announcement came in a Nov. 30 press release issued by Neillsville Kiwanian
Brent Shoup. Zoschke was introduced at the Nov. 9 Neillsville Kiwanian Club
meeting.
“An exceptional high school resume consisting of academic, sporting and
extracurricular achievements has been compiled by Zoschke,” Shoup wrote.
Zoschke is a member of the National Honor Society, has been named a Daughters of
the American Revolution Good Citizen and has served as a youth coach for soccer
and flag football. As a three-sport athlete, he has been a captain and named to
all-conference teams in football, baseball and hockey. Zoschke also plays for
the Marshfield Pride baseball team, on which he is captain.
In the community, Zoschke is active in volunteer efforts with the Clark County
Humane Society, caring for elderly and assisting with a neighboring farm.
Zoschke also works as a detail technician at Gross Motors.
“The Neillsville Kiwanis Club welcomes Jonah Zoschke as Junior Kiwanian, and
wishes him continued success in his future pursuits,” Shoup wrote.
Following Zoschke’s graduation in the spring, he plans to attend a four-year
university to obtain a degree in biology, and then continue his education with a
career goal of becoming a physical therapist or athletic trainer.
