From reliable sources comes the information that the management of the Fairchild
& Northeaster Railway, spurred on by the need of facilities to hand the
constantly increasing freight and passenger traffic of the road, have decided to
put two more mixed trains in regular service between Fairchild and Owen. The new
schedule contemplates two passenger trains daily each way, with layover at each
end of the line, giving the usual prompt connections with other roads along the
line, and allowing passenger to visit any town along the line and return the
same day. (Owen Enterprise)
