Filipak, Richard J. (18 September 1946 – 25 December 2020)

Richard J. Filipiak, 74, of Stanley, died on Friday, December 25, 2020 at his home.

He was born on September 18, 1946 at Victory Memorial Hospital in Stanley to the late Peter and Anna (Nesterick) Filipiak. Richard lived in Stanley until the mid-90’s when he moved to Chippewa Falls. He worked for Chippewa River Industries for many years and enjoyed his time there. Richard was a huge Packer fan, he enjoyed birthdays, bowling, doing the “chicken dance” and spending time with his family.

He is survived Eleanor Almos of Minneapolis, MN, Alice (Herb) Deuel of Sheldon and Peter (Patricia) Filipiak of Hawkins and many nieces and nephews.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Dorothy Filipiak and Florence Pawlik.

A funeral service will be at 11 A.M. on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at the Plombon Funeral Home-Stanley with Father Herman Klarr officiating. Burial will follow at St. John the Baptist Orthodox Cemetery-Huron. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
