The Masquerade Ball given last Friday evening by the Beavers and Queens was a
decided success, there being over one hundred and forty dance and spectator
tickets sold.
The costumes were unusually good and almost as varied as number, making it a
difficult task for the judges to render a decision.
The judges chose were Mrs. N. J. Carter, Mrs. H. R. Schofield, and J. A.
Jacobson, who awarded the prizes to Miss Myrtle Syth and Charles McCormick.
Lunch was served in the basement by S. R. Kelly.
