Duda, Stefania “Stephanie” (20 September 1924 – 26 December 2020)

Stefania “Stephanie” Duda, 96, of Greenwood, passed away at Marshfield Medical Center, in Marshfield, on Saturday, December 26, 2020.

Stefania Andreasik was born on September 20, 1924, in Brzeziny, Poland, to Jakob and Franciszka (Longosz) Andreasik. She was educated through the eighth grade in Poland. Stephanie was united in marriage to Anthony Joseph Duda on March 8, 1943 in Brzeziny, Poland. In 1962, they moved to Chicago, and she worked for Victor Surgical Company until 1972. They then bought a farm and moved to the town of Unity, where they farmed until her husband's death on January 17, 1990.

Stephanie then moved to Greenwood to live with her daughter, Kathy. She resided with Kathy until her death.

She is survived by her 3 daughters: Kathy Kwiatkowski of Greenwood, Jane (Stanley) Dubrowski of Peoria, IL, Diane Loyd of Greenwood; 2 granddaughters: Lissa Dubrowski and Lin Taibl, both of Bolingbrook, IL; one grandson, Eric Dubrowski (Sarah Webster) of Peoria, IL

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Anthony; 3 sisters and 3 brothers.

Duda, Stefania “Stephanie” (20 September 1924 – 26 December 2020)

Stefania "Stephanie" Duda, age 96, of Greenwood, formerly of Loyal, passed away at Marshfield Medical Center, in Marshfield, on Saturday, December 26, 2020.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 27, 2021, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenwood. Burial will follow in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery in Loyal. Visitation will be held at the church, on Friday, from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.

Cuddie Funeral Home, of Greenwood, is assisting the family with arrangements.
