John Affolder has purchased the building formerly owned by S. H. Wert, east of
the Baptist Church, and is finishing it for a furniture store. We might suggest
that the upper story would make a good dwelling, but as John belongs to the
fraternity of bachelorhood, such an idea would be out of place.
