Garman, Harold Webster (3 January 1927 – 2 January 2021) With Flag
Harold Webster Garman, age 93, beloved husband of Gertrude Ann Garman passed
away Saturday January 2nd, 2021 just one day shy of his 94th birthday; loving
father of Arthur (Renee) Garman, Karen Engel and Gerold (Sandra) Garman;
cherished grandfather of eight and great-grandfather of seventeen and
great-great-grandfather to three. Preceded in death by his loving wife Gertrude
and his brothers and sister.
He was born in Beloit. Following military academy, he enlisted in the United
States Armed Forces and served as a bugler in WW2. He worked for Bowman Dairy in
River Forest. He loved his family and was always looking out for everybody. His
grandchildren brought him great pride and joy. Harold was grateful for the extra
years he got to spend with his family. He loved to be around people and never
missed an opportunity to tell a joke or play the harmonica. He will be deeply
missed by all those who loved him and knew him.
Military Honors, open to the public, will be performed by the Neillsville
Veteran’s Council at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 9, 2021 at The Highground
Veterans Memorial Park, W7031 Ridge Rd., Neillsville, WI 54456. A private family
memorial service will follow at the American Legion Hall in Neillsville.
