Curtiss Lions Jean Jakel recently received the Melvin Jones Award, the highest
honor granted by Lions Clubs. The award was presented by first vice president
Kris Erdman in recognition of Jakel’s performance as the club’s treasurer and
her efforts to help in times of need.
