Kobs, Alma M. (6 January 1898 - 31 December 1983)
COLBY -- Mrs. Fred (Alma M.) Kobs, 84, of 106 N. Third St., Colby, died Friday
evening at the Colonial House of Colby.
Services will be Tuesday at Zion Lutheran Church, Colby, with the Rev. Robin O.
Fink officiating. Burial will be in Colby Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Rux Funeral Home, Colby and then at the church until
services.
The former Alma M. Voge was born January 6, 1898 at Lomira, the daughter of the
late Mr. and Mrs. Edward (Augusta Schultz) Voge. She and Fred Kobs were married
May 17, 1918. She spent most of her life in Colby.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Colby and its Ladies Aid, and a
charter member of its Sewing Circle. She was a member of the American Legion
Auxiliary and the Senior Citizens.
Surviving are two sons, Delos of Mt. Horeb, and Gerald of Los Angeles; one
daughter, Mrs. Walter (Bernice) Rosselet of Milwaukee; five grandchildren; seven
great-grandchildren; and one sister Olga Voge of Colby.
She was predeceased by a daughter, a sister and two brothers.
