Owing to the fact that there was an entertainment program in Spencer the same evening, we did not attend the presentation of “The Last Loaf,” by the Unity Literary Society, as we intended. We regret being unable to attend, but understand that all who were there speak of the Society in terms of warm praise. We hope they will soon bring out another drama, when we shall make it a point to be there, whether we can or not.
