Meyer Manufacturing Corp. helped make one employee’s Christmas a bit brighter
this year.
Due to the challenges of COVID-19, the annual Holiday Celebration was not held.
Therefore, Meyer Manufacturing’s management team had a new idea to drum up some
excitement leading up to the Christmas holiday; the Polaris Ranger 1000
Give-Away was born.
Employees were issued tickets based on their tenure at Meyer and then given the
opportunity to personally drop them into the tumbler as the Ranger roamed the
plant on “drawing day.”
Don and Larry Meyer gave a short presentation and drew the winner of the Polaris
Ranger and other cash prizes just before all employees went on their holiday
vacation on Christmas eve.
Four-year employee Andrew Waldhauser of Loyal was the lucky winner of the
Polaris. Meyer covered the cost of the UTV and all applicable taxes.
Other prize winners included: Mark Nehrlich, Justin Smith, Jeremy Skubal, Kurt
Miller and Casey Haas.
