At the home of the bride's parents in the Town of Eaton, Clark
County, Wednesday evening at 8 o'clock, occurred the marriage of
Mr. Alfred Eggett to Miss May Simmons, Rev. G. C. Andrews

The ceremony was performed in the presence of about thirty
relatives and friends, including the parents of the contracting
parties. The hose was tastily decorated for the occasion. The bride
was dressed in white silk. The bridesmaid, Miss Minnie Eggett,
sister to the groom, also wore white silk. Mr. Sam Simmons, brother
of the bride, was best man and was dressed in black as was the
groom. After the words that made the twain one were spoken and
congratulations were extended to the happy pair, all present sat
down to a bounteous supper.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. F. Simmons and is an
estimable young lady of noble qualities and well liked. The groom

wishes of all their friends go with the new husband and
wife.
