Schwanke, Frank (1902 - 1982)


Funeral services for Frank Schwanke, 80, formerly of Loyal, Clark County, who has been residing at the Clark County Health Care Center, Owen, were conducted at Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, at 8 p.m., Aug 24.

Mr. Schwanke died at 1:05 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 22, at the Health Care Center.

The Masonic Service will be at 8 p.m. The body will be cremated.

Frank Schwanke was born May 22, 1902, in Douglas County, Minn. He received his education at a rural Villard School.

He worked as a cheesemaker in Clark County a number of years. He was also employed by Braun Bowling Alley as a bartender for many yeas. He was divorced.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge at Loyal.

Surviving him are one brother, Emil of Villard, Minn. and one niece, Mrs. Bernice Johnson of Osakis, Minn.

Preceding him in death were his parents, August and Augusta Schwanke and several brothers and sisters.

Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, handled arrangements.
