Hebert, Julia E. (1899 - 1982)
Funeral services for Julia E. Hebert, 83, of 207 W. Main St.,
Spencer, were conducted at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 14, at Trinity
Lutheran Church, Spencer.
Mrs. Hebert died at Marshfield Convalescent Center at 5 a.m.,
Sunday, Sept. 12, 1982.
Officiating at the service was Rev. William Ruhbusch. Mrs. Neland
Will was organist. Burial was in the West Spencer Cemetery, with
Richard and Jeff Hebert, Jack Neumann, Jim Zahn, Gary Oestreich and
Dennis Hebert serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were
Matt Gregorich, Art Lucht, Elmer Oestreich, Chris Oestreich, John
Schwantes and Jack Pickett. Rux Funeral Home, Spencer, handled
arrangements.
Julia Johnson was born on April 17, 1899, in the Town of Unity,
Clark County to the late Severin and Hannah Julia (nee Halverson)
Johnson.
She was married to Lloyd Hebert at Greenwood on April 16, 1918.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and a former member of
the Ladies Aid at Faith Lutheran Church in Marshfield. She was also
a former member of the Loyal American Legion Auxiliary.
Surviving are her husband, Lloyd three sons, Donald, Gerald and
Virgil, all of Spencer five daughters, Mrs. Ray (Ruby) Neumann of
Spencer, Mrs. Ray (Betty) Boehning of Marshfield, Mrs. Richard
(Lois) Oestreich of Spencer, Mrs. Ralph (Arlene) Will of Colby and
Mrs. Virgean Zahn of Spencer 41 grandchildren and 60
great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were two grandchildren one great-grandchild
two brothers and two sisters.
