Kurz, Clara (1897 - 1982)
Mrs. Clara Kurz, 85, of 114 . Thomas, Loyal,
Clark County, died Friday morning, Oct. 15, 1982.
Funeral services for Mrs. Kurz were at 11 a.m., Monday, Oct. 18, at
Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal. Rev. Joseph Kraly officiated and
interment was in the Loyal Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were
Herbert Hinkelmann, Alfred Hinkelmann, Arden Hinkelmann, Henry
Kurz, Edmund Hinkelmann and Ewald Hinkelmann.
Clara Hinkelmann was born to Julius and Alvina (nee Birr)
Hinkelmann on March 28, 1897, in the Town of Clyman, Dodge
County.
She received her education at a parochial school in the Town of
Clyman.
She and Phillip Kurz were married on Ja. 19, 1961, at Loyal. He
died in 1975.
In 1910, she moved to Loyal, and lived on a farm in the Town of
Loyal. After her marriage, she lived in the Town of Sherman for
five years. In 1966, she moved to the City of Loyal.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include one brother, Ernest Hinkelmann of Loyal and one
sister, Mrs. John (Lydia) Kurz of Rt. 2, Spencer.
Preceding her in death were her husband her parents one brother and
one sister.
Singers for the services were Mrs. Verlund Dux and Mrs. Erwin Dux.
Organist was Mrs. Norma Nelson. Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, handled
arrangements.
