Schlinsog, Ewald (1911 - 1982)
Ewald "Mike" Schlinsog, 71, of Granton, Clark
County, died at Memorial Hospital, Neillsville, Clark County, at 5
p.m., Friday, Dec. 24, 1982.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m., Monday, Dec. 27, at Zion Lutheran
Church, Granton. Officiating was Rev. E. T. Keller of Pittsville.
Mrs. Roger Helm was the organist and interment was in the church
cemetery.
Ewald Schlinsog was born on Oct. 21, 1911, in the Town of Grant to
Henry and Ella (nee Gotter) Schlinsog. He graduated from Granton
High School in 1930.
He was employed at Granton Post Office for a time and then was
branch manager of Citizens State Bank of Granton.
He was a World War II veteran and a member of Zion Lutheran Church,
Granton.
Surviving him are one sister, Mrs. Erwin (Meta) Braatz of Eau
Claire and a brother, Arthur Schlinsog of Granton.
Preceding him in death were his parents and two sisters.
Vernon Sternitzky, Dale Wesenberg, Norman Wesenberg, Harry Zaleski,
Ray Hoeft and William Morley served as pallbearers.
