Schuette, Arthur (1902 - 1983)
Arthur Schuette, 80, of 110 E. South, Loyal,
died at his home at around 2:30 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 23, 1983.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 26, at Rinka
Funeral Home, Loyal. Rev. Brian Kuehmichel officiated at the
service and interment was in the Loyal Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Walter Bredlau, Roger Kadolph, Joe
Poehnelt, Lawrence Esselman, Walter Seeger and Mike Bauer. Rinka
Funeral Home, Loyal, handled arrangements.
Arthur Schuette was born on Aug. 1, 1902, in Manitowoc County to
Henry and Anna (nee Regling Schuette.
He came to Clark County in 1910. He lived at Colby, where he
operated a tavern until 1946, when he moved to Loyal. He was
self-employed, working as a salesman for McKay Nursery and Payco
Seed Co.
He and Hulda Knecht were married on July 6, 1932, at Winona,
Minn.
He was a member of Dawn bible Student Organization.
Surviving him is one brother, Edwin of Kaukauna.
Preceding him in death was his wife, Hulda, on Feb. 5, 1973, and
his parents.
