Nelson, Russell (1956 - 1983)
Mr. and Mrs. Russell (Addie Nelson and their four daughters,
Russchelle 7, Opel 4, Shiela 2 and Laura 20 months, died of smoke
inhalation at 2:50 a.m., Monday, April 25, 1983 in Wetmore, Col.
When their mobile home caught fire.
Mr. Nelson, 27, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter (Vernell) Nelson, Loyal,
was born in Loyal. He graduated from Loyal High school in 1974 and
after graduation was employed by Artcraft Homes of Spencer for a
time. He married the former Addie Reed in Colorado. She was 25
years old.
Surviving Mr. Nelson are his parents eight brothers, David, Ronald,
John, Dennis Jack, Dallas and Rick, all of Loyal, and Randy of
Texas five sisters, Mrs. Erlin (Bonnie) Roehl and Mrs. Joe
(Beverly) Zupanc of Loyal, Mrs. Jim (Rosemary) Rudoll of
Neillsville, Mrs. Randy (Nila) Potter of Spencer and Mrs. Curt
(Carol) Richter of Milwaukee. Mrs. Nelson is survived by her
parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Alvin Reed of Wetmore, Col., two sisters and
three brothers.
Services were 2 p.m. Friday in Pueblo, Col., with burial in
Wetmore, Col.
