Murphy, Isabelle (1893 - 1983)

Rev. James Logan officiated at the funeral services for Isabelle Murphy, 89, formerly of Loyal, Clark County.

Mrs. Murphy had been residing at the Clark County Health Care Center in Owen for the past 31 years. She died on Wednesday afternoon, April 27, 1983, at the Center.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 30, 1983, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal. Interment was in the parish cemetery.

Isabelle Roth was born at Audubon, Iowa, May 16, 1893, to Peter and Anna (nee Coglon) Roth. She was married to Thomas William Murphy in 1922, at Loyal.

She is survived by two sons, Ambrose of Whitefish Bay and Lawrence of Lowell, Mass. six grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Kathryn Woodley of Milford, Iowa.

She was predeceased by her husband in 1951 her parents three brothers and three sisters.

Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, was in charge of arrangements.
